Wales Sevens squad selected

Wales will take part in the FIRA European Women's 7s championship in Limoges,France this weekend, taking a strong squad to compete for the title.
In their first Euro 7s competition, Wales have been drawn in the 16 team Group A, with 10 developing rugby nations competing in Group B.  With a total of 26 nations taking part, the competition provides an opportunity for women's rugby to develop throughout the continent.

Wales will face England, Germany and Croatia in the opening pool stages on Friday, before hoping to make a hit on Saturday in the knock-out stages of either the Cup, Plate, Bowl or Shield competitions. 

The national squad coaches have selected a talented side for the competition, with a number of 7s specialists amongst the ranks.  Led by Captain, Mel Berry, the team will be in search of silverware to finish off a fantastic season.
