Liza Burgess is an attached Forwards Coach with Wales Women. Burgess took up the post for the 2008 Women's Six Nations after retiring from the Women's game at the end of the 2007 Wales Women v England Women Women's Six Nations match; the last of the 2007 campaign.

Whilst Burgess is not Wales Women's most capped international her experience on the field spans across three decades in a playing career as a forward that spanned twenty years. As one of the originals, she led Wales Women out in the very first Women's international back in April 1987 against England Women at Pontypool Park.
