Group Finance Director
Steve Phillips joined the Welsh Rugby Union as Group Finance Director at the end of January 2007 from Welsh company TBI where, as Group Finance Director, he played a major role in the company's prominent commercial rise to a £170m annual turnover.
TBI is one of the largest regional airport owners in the world and in his ten years at the company Phillips played active roles in the acquisition of airports in Belfast, Sweden, London Luton, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Australia and North America and was directly responsible for the sale of one of the company's flagship assets, the Cardiff Hilton, for £26m.
