| Tim Burton |
| Head of Group Operations, Tim Burton was educated at De Aston School, St Paul’s and St Mary’s College Cheltenham and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Since leaving the Army in 1995 Tim has held a number of senior consulting and operational roles at Board level. He has worked in both the private and public sector advising clients on strategy and leadership development.
In 2003 Tim was appointed to advise the WRU on its strategic development plans. Tim then joined the WRU in May 2005 as Head of Strategy and was appointed to the Executive Board in September 2005 becoming Head of Group Operations in January 2007. 43 years of age Tim is married with two children and lives in West Wales where his wife is Head of Welsh at Ysgol yr Gwendreath.
