Blaenau Gwent claim Abergavenny crown

The annual Abergavenny RFC rugby tournament took place over the Bank Holiday weekend and after plenty of excitement, Blaenau Gwent defeated Blackwood to be crowned overall women's winners.

In the Girls Under 15s and Under 18s (10 aside), Carmarthen Quins, Newport, Crymych, Abergavenny and Colwyn Bay played against each other with Quins the eventual winners. Carmarthen, Cardigan and Newport played in the Under 18s with Cardigan taking the title.

Carmarthen’s Liana Cox was nominated as Player of the Tournament in the Under 18’s Age group.
