The Welsh Rugby Union and Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust are delighted to announce a joint grant scheme that aims to improve community rugby facilities in Wales and widen participation.
About Volunteers
A rugby volunteer is someone that helps in the running of the game but does not get paid for their work. The majority of rugby volunteers are found within a club environment and common examples are coaches, club secretaries and groundkeepers.

Individuals who give up their free time to help develop rugby in their communities are the most important people within the structure of Welsh rugby and are vital to the success of the game at all levels. Rugby clubs simply would not exist without their support.

The WRU recognises how important volunteers are and we want to be as proactive as possible in supporting them. Therefore this webpage has been created to help in the recruitment, development and recognition of volunteers. Information, help and ideas are provided on volunteer management for both clubs and individuals.
