| The home of Welsh Rugby, the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, will host the 13th Heineken Cup Final on May 24th 2008 (kick-off 5pm). This will be the fifth time that the world's biggest club rugby final has been played out in the Welsh capital, and the third time that two of Europe’s best teams will do battle for the title of Champions of Europe at the Millennium Stadium.
Cardiff hosted the first two Heineken Cup Finals at the old National Ground, Cardiff Arms Park, where the Millennium Stadium now stands. French clubs Toulouse and Brive won the coveted trophy in those first two finals, then the Millennium Stadium stepped in providing the platform for Leicester Tigers' triumph in 2002 and Munster's magic moment in 2006.
The 2002 Leicester Tigers against Munster final was played in front of a then tournament record crowd of 74,600. In 2006 the Millennium Stadium was full to capacity for Munster's victory over Biarritz Olympique.
Tickets for next May's Cardiff 2008 Heineken Cup Final at the Millennium Stadium are priced at £20, £35, £45 and £55 with concession prices for juniors at £22, £24, £32.
