| Llanelli maintained their position at the top of the Principality Premiership thanks to a narrow 21-17 win at Cross Keys on Saturday afternoon. |
Wing Nick Jones and centre Mick Reynolds crossed for Llanelli’s two tries, with Nathan Trowbridge replying for Keys.
Llandovery remain at the foot of the table after they fell to their sixth defeat of the season at Pontypool.
Pooler made it two wins from five attempts following their promotion last season, with full back Geraint O’Driscoll scoring all of his side’s 13 points.
An injury-time penalty from Nicky Thomas rescued a point for Swansea against Bridgend in the 24-all draw at the Brewery Field The visitors trailed 18-13 at the break but eventually outscored fifth-placed Bridgend by three tries to two.
Neath recorded a 29-19 home win over Newport, Ebbw Vale came out on top in a nail-biting 26-25 clash with Cardiff at the Arms Park while Pontypridd beat Glamorgan Wanderers 25-5 |
