Second-half Quins fightback stuns Scarlets
The Scarlets will be bitterly disappointed they were unable to give the famous Stradey Park the perfect Heineken Cup send-off when Nigel Davies's side went down 22-29 in Pool 4.
It looked so different at the break with the home side roaring to a comfortable 19-3 advantage with first half tries to Morgan Stoddart and Mark Jones along with three penalties courtesy of Stephen Jones's trusty right boot, putting the home side firmly in control.

But the roles were reversed in the second spell when the Scarlets suddenly found possession hard to come by as Chris Malone and halfback partner Danny Care pulled the strings expertly behind the Quins pack.
Malone chipped away at the Scarlets lead with two penalties before Jones increased the lead to 22-9 with another penalty in the 50th minute.

With the Scarlets moving to a start of the art stadium next month, home fans were already celebrating their new move but Dean Richards' side turned up to be party poopers.

First Care darted over for a converted try then speedster Ugo Monye collected a Malone cross field chip to run around the Scarlets defence in the 65th minute.

With Malone adding his second conversion, the visitors had hit the lead for the first time in the match. With 15 minutes remaining the game could still have gone either way but it was the visitors' who finished the stronger with Malone adding another penalty on the stroke of full-time to finish with a personal haul of 19 points.

The home side exploded out of the blocks in the first minute with Stoddart rounding Mike Brown with a stunning run to score out wide.

Five minutes later winger Mark Jones, who impressed throughout, dived over wide out to suggest the home side were going to run in a bonus point before halftime.

However the Quins came out a different team in the second half to send Scarlets fans home shaking their heads in bewilderment after seeing their side come off second best after seemingly being in control at halftime.
