| Penallta will be looking to move up the Division One East table after their fine performance against leaders Merthyr last weekend. |
They travel to Cyncoed where they meet the students of UWIC who, like their visitors, have also only managed one league victory to date. With only seven tries on the board, Penallta are finding it much tougher in the top division but with a win or two things could quickly change.
Newport Saracens are the only club in One East without a victory and they travel to the Dairy Field where high-flying Llanharan will provide a stern test.
Newbridge's unbeaten record will be on the line at Ystrad Rhondda while the division's leading try scorers, Bargoed, will be expecting to rack up the touchdowns against lowly Beddau.
Dunvant are closing in on their first One West victory after losing their last two matches by one point against leaders Carmarthen Quins, and two points at Cwmllynfell last weekend. The Broadacre outfit host a Maesteg side with an average record after being relegated from the Premier Division last season.
The top match will be at the Lewis Lloyd Ground where Narberth take on Tonmawr. There should be tries aplenty as between them to date, they have already racked up 50 touchdowns.
Two East leaders Llantrisant welcome a Fleur de Lys side that has won their last two matches. With second-placed Gilfach Goch meeting fourth-placed Brynmawr, the Black Army will be hoping to extend their lead at the top but it could be tough.
Bedlinog travel to Treherbert where the home side will be looking for their first win of the season.
Three clubs remain unbeaten in Two West and all three are away this weekend. Leaders Builth Wells travel to BP Llandarcy, Loughor are at Kidwelly, and Bridgend Athletic take on the Cocklemen at Penclawdd. Gorseinon will be hoping to register their first win of the season when Waunarlwydd are the visitors.
Rhymney notched their first victory in Three East last weekend with a fine effort against Gwernyfed and they will be looking to make it a double when they take on New Tredegar at Grove Park. The Newts are the only side in the division without a victory and with only two tries to date, they will do well to beat the Brewers.
Top match in Three West is at leaders Pontyberem who play host to Aberystwyth. Both sides are unbeaten and the result could have a big outcome on the final positions. |
