Ambitious Young unimpressed with draw

Blues boss David Young emphaised the ambition of his side by cursing their draw with champions Leinster on Saturday.
Young has high hopes of Magners League succes this season after after two consecutive seasons in the runners up position, and he saw the draw at the Arms Park as a chance lost.

?It was hugely frustrating," he said. "Very few times will you play a champion side like Leinster and dominate the game as much we did."

The match ended 16-all, but it took a late penalty from Kiwi full back Ben Blair to save the Blues from a disappointing opening round defeat.

Despite this, Young said: ?That was two points lost and not two points won for us. The Leinster coaches will be much happier than us because they weren't in the game. We did a lot of good things, but we have to be far more clinical and win games like that.

?We should have finished more of the opportunities we created. We spilled the ball or made the wrong decisions, and that is not good enough.?

The Blues' next Magners league match is a challenging trip to the Liberty Stadium for a Tuesday night tussle with the Ospreys, and with Munster on the menu of Saturday, they have argubley the toughest possible start to their league campign.
