Nicky Robinson will reach 100 games for Cardiff Blues when they kick off their Magners League campaign against defending champions Leinster on Saturday.
Robinson made his Blues debut in September 2003 against Glasgow and has scored 623 points for the region.

And the Wales capped fly-half insists last season's Magners League runners-up are ready to go one better this season.

He said: "It's a nice milestone to reach. I've played at the Arms Park my whole career with Cardiff and the Blues so it's good to get my 100th game at home.

"It's a tough start for us and we always have tough matches against Leinster. But we would like to improve on last year having finished second in the league again."

Head coach Dai Young has included Wales star Jamie Roberts alongside Tom Shanklin in the centre with new signing Richard Mustoe making his debut on the wing.

Paul Tito skippers the Blues for the first time without injured quartet Tom James, Gareth Thomas, Xavier Rush and Deiniol Jones.
