| Both the Ospreys and the Dragons fell at the first hurdle in last Saturday's Middlesex Sevens. |
Wales' two regional representatives were knocked out after round 1 when they suffered defeats to Sale (26-5) and London Irish (28-19) respectively.
It means that Wales' 82 year wait for success at the famous sevens tournament will continue. The title was collected by Harlequins who won it for the 14th time. |
