| The outcome of that process was as follows:
President
Valid nominations were received for Mr Dennis Gethin (Seven Sisters RFC) and Mr Howard Watkins (Caldicot RFC). Ballot papers have been issued to clubs, regions and associate members and votes must be received by first post on Monday 1 September.
National Appointed Directors
Mr David Pickering and Mr Gerald Davies were unopposed and will continue in office for a further three year term following this year’s AGM on September 28.
District Appointed Directors
Mr Roy Giddings (District B), Mr Ray Wilton (District C) and Mr Aurwel Morgan (District D) offered themselves for re-election and were unopposed, they will therefore continue in office for a further three year term following this year’s AGM.
In District A, valid nominations were received for both Mr Ken Hewitt (Abergavenny RFC) and Mr Steve Lewis (Ebbw Vale RFC) and a ballot will be held at the Annual District Meeting at Crumlin RFC on Monday 1 September 2008.
