After last week's successful kick off at U18 level, this Wednesday it's the turn of the U16s to take centre stage in the WRU Reebok Regional Championship.
The Blues North, who reached the final last time around, take on the Scarlets at Narberth, whilst the Dragons entertain last season's champions the Ospreys at the Recreation Ground, Tredegar.

Blues High Performance Manager, Gafyn Cooper said, "As a region we are looking forward to seeing if we can build on last year's performances. The Blues North side reached the final last season, and we lifted the U20 trophy so we hope to continue with that momentum this time around.

"The championship has been a resounding success since its inception two years ago and already we have a host of senior players who have not only played for their regions, but who have played for Wales too."

Dai Arthur, HPM for the Ospreys region said, "Our aim for this season is two-fold: it would be great to get our hands on all three age grade trophies again, but the development of these young players is paramount.

"Our U16s beat their counterparts from Northampton and Saracens during our pre-season training camp at Aldershot so it will be interesting to see how they do against our Welsh regions in this tournament."
