| The Blues North U16 maintained their 100 per cent record in the WRU Reebok Regional Championship last night and in doing so moved another step closer to the final in February. |
Having won all four games prior to last night's contest at Llandovery, the North made it five in a row courtesy of a 13-6 victory over the Scarlets.
James Stevenson kicked two penalties for the Scarlets in the first half, but leading 7-6 at the interval thanks to a converted try from fullback James Wood, the visitors kicked on and won the day.
Josh James converted Wood's first half try with replacement outside half Ian Smerdon adding a brace of penalties after the break.
The game between the Dragons and Ospreys at Ebbw Vale's Eugene Cross Park was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. That game will be played next Monday. |
