Young Ospreys look to bounce back

By WRU
The Ospreys under 18s will be keen to bounce back from their disappointing WRU Reebok Regional Championship defeat against the Blues laat month when they take on the Scarlets at St Helens tonight (Wednesday), kick off 7.15...
Although the champions began the season well by beating the Dragons at Abertillery Park, they came unstuck three weeks ago, losing 21-12 against a Blues side who now top the table.

Centre Kristian Phillips bagged a couple of tries in that defeat at Swansea and he once again partners Ashley Beck in a solid looking midfield.

Daniel Biggar, the main contributor when the Ospreys beat the Dragons starts at fly half with Anthony Buselli his half back partner.

The Scarlets too have had an indifferent start to the campaign - after holding the Blues 26-26 in their opening game, they had to settle for a second draw, 8-8 against the Dragons.

In the other game, the Blues take on the Dragons at the Arms Park. Centre Phil Williams captains a Blues side who will fancy their chances of putting one over on the Gwent region.

However, the Black and Ambers travelled well last time around - to Stradey Park - and will be keen to register a first win of the new season.

In last night's under 20 game, between the Ospreys and Dragons, it was the Ospreys who came out on top, 13-7

A try from Chris Morgan converted by Dane Clancy put the Ospreys on their way and they led 10-0 at the interval courtesy of a Clancy penalty.

The Dragons struck back with a converted try from Sean Watkins, but replacement Tom Cole had the last laugh with a penalty to seal the victory points.
