Wales coach Gareth Jenkins has issued a rallying call to fans calling on them to create a cauldron atmosphere inside the Millennium Stadium next month as he looks to claim the first scalp of his tenure at the national helm during the Invesco Perpetual Series.
Tickets for the November matches against Canada - priced at just £10 adults and £5 children - the Pacific Islands and Australia - priced at £45 - go on sale to the general public via www.ticketmaster.co.uk and 08705 582 582 on Monday 2nd October at 12 noon, with the clash against New Zealand already sold out.
And the new Wales coach will be looking for his World Cup team to emerge against the top Southern Hemisphere opposition and, importantly, future RWC 07 Pool B opener opponents the Canuks.
"The Invesco Perpetual Series is the start of a very big year for Welsh Rugby, it's World Cup year and we are into the serious business of preparing a team to represent our proud nation at the very highest of levels," said Jenkins.
"It all starts next month and we will need all the fans behind us if we are to start as we mean to go on, with a winning mentality against Australia, Pacific Islands, Canada and New Zealand.
"We will be looking for our future Rugby World Cup team to emerge from these matches as I'm sure all the fans will be. And the fans have an important role to play, if they can create the kind of cauldron atmosphere in the Millennium Stadium that they have done in recent times, it will give us that extra edge.
"We have two World Cup games to play in Cardiff, including a clash with the Wallabies, and the Millennium factor could be all important."
