Five North side Denbigh have been playing games away until their new dressing rooms were completed, but now they are ready and the side turned on the heat in their first game changing in their new surroundings.

Fly half Llion Edwards was outstanding with three tries and seven conversions and flanker Noel Spillane also scored three of the ten tries in a 64-10 win.

Bethesda received a setback when they were beaten 12-10 at Rhos; Colwyn Bay held on to win 8-7 at Machynlleth and Bangor defeated Llanidloes 38-12.

South West leaders Resolven beat Baglan 34-0 and Neath Athletic have now joined the clubs battling it out in the basement after slipping to a 29-10 defeat at high-flying Aberavon Green Stars.

West leaders Cefneithen were well beaten 16-0 at Crymych to throw the promotion race wide open. Pembroke's 24-3 win at Furnace and Pontyates 22-3 success against New Dock Stars closed up the gap at the top of this division.

Only three matches were played in South East with Cilfynydd improving their position after winning 24-20 at Ferndale while Llandaff North were impressive at Bridgend Sports, running out 39-0 winners.

The other match went to South Wales Police who beat Deri 27-12. Trinant kept ahead in East after their 17-6 victory over visitors Bettws. Machen stay in contention following a 14-3 success over Usk while Garndiffaith defeated Blaenavon 21-13.
