DIVISION 4 ROUNDUP

Caernarfon lost 60-8 to Ruthin last month, but a rousing display upset the North Division leaders, who fell by 14-3. Kelvin Morris kicked three penalty goals and though John Tudor scored one for Ruthin, their unbeaten tag went after a try by Caernarfon wing Arwel Davies.

Nant Conwy closed the gap at the top after defeating Dolgellau 21-3 while Pwllheli enjoyed a victory after
winning 20-12 against Wrexham.

East leaders Bargoed are going to be hard to catch after a 33-16 win against Crumlin extended their lead at the top to eight points. Andron Abdul, Ivor Bowen and Gareth Lerwin crossed for the leaders and Chris Lay converted all three and slotted over three penalties.

In South East, Gareth Howe sent Heol y Cyw to a 17-6 victory at the Athletic Ground against Penarth, by scoring all the 17 points, including a brace of
tries. Abercwmboi's match at Bedlinog was called off and Fairwater took advantage with a 24-18 win at Aberdare to move level at the top.

West leaders Loughor took a tumble when they were well beaten 22-5 at Pembroke Dock Quins. With Llanelli Wanderers losing at home to Laugharne 17-13, the
Quins move up into joint second spot while Betws just hung on to beat lowly Tycroes 8-7.

Only three points separated the top six sides in South West and leaders Alltwen slipped up after losing 24-20 at Cefn Cribbwr. Taibach made no mistake against visitors Glais to win 35-19, Cwmgors defeated Amman United 26-3 and Briton Ferry edged out close rivals Morriston 19-14.
