France beat Wales Women 22-0 at the Cardiff Arms Park on Friday Night (5th March 2004) Two unanswered tries either side of half time saw off the young Welsh squad in their second defeat of the Six Nations.

Scotland had a shock defeat 6-5 to Spain in Lalin on Saturday. Their loss means they are equal on points to the Welsh and Spanish as the teams enter the fourth round. England crushed Ireland 51-10 at Twickenham to give them their third win in the tournament as they look to defend their grand slam title. Wales have a tough test against England at the Stoop on Saturday 20th March.

Wales Development lost to France 'A' in a very close game at Cardiff University on Friday afternoon. Wales went down in the second half to a French penalty but a try from Welsh centre Cheryl Tyler gave Wales the lead 5-3. But with five minutes to go the French forwards powered over the line from a driving lineout to win 8-5.
