Corus had their hopes of a title win shattered as Waunarlwydd upset them in a thriller by 25-24. Aberavon Quins defeated Birchgrove in a basement battle; Vardre gained an important 9-8 win over Pencoed and Bridgend Athletic moved upwards with a 23-20 success at Cwmavon.
