Trinant beat Gwernyfed 32-5 in East and the title could soon be in the bag as
they meet Machen next Saturday and will lift the trophy if they win either that
game or the following one against Oakdale, their nearest rivals. The Troggs
raced in five tries to move closer to glory, as Oakdale kept their faint hopes
alive by winning 30-5 at RTB (Ebbw Vale).

Llandaff, champions elect of South East, ended their season with a 20-7 victory
at Ferndale and Llantwit Major moved to second with a 20-12 win at Bridgend
Sports.

The New Dock Stars against Llangwm match in the West was abandoned after 20
minutes when the referee suffered an injury. Only four games finished in this
division.

Tonna went to town in their South West match at Porthcawl with a 51-3 success
and Aberavon Green Stars recorded a 15-3 win at Cwmtwrch, while leaders
Resolven had their match called off away to Neath Athletic.

Denbigh threw the North title wide open after beating leaders Colwyn Bay 20-7.
Denbigh are now one point behind but with a game in hand. Welshpool are firmly
in third place after a convincing 37-7 victory at Machynlleth.
