Youth After Sixth Straight Title

By WRU
Wales Youth (under-18s) kick-off in the Four-Nation Tournament in Belfast on Saturday and are looking for a sixth successive title.

They follow the Scotland match by taking on Ireland on Tuesday, April 13 at Deramore and end up against England at Shaws Bridge SC on Friday, April 16.

A squad of 11 backs and 15 forwards will be in Ireland for the three matches, coached by former Aberavon and Wales scrum half Ray Giles and the ex-Newbridge lock Rob Beale, who now coaches at Risca.

One late change in the pack has seen Ashleigh James (Bonymaen) come in as a hooker after Anthony Gills (Dunvant) was forced to withdraw. In the backs there is also one change as wing Tom Stephens (Mumbles) is unfit and his place goes to a fly half - Rhys Jones (Abergavenny), the son of the former Wales senior captain and flanker Kingsley Jones.
