Pontyberem and Kidwelly are level on 69 points in the West, but Pontyberem have one match remaining and lead on try-count. They have to go to Haverfordwest on May 15 for the final match.

Pontyberem defeated third-placed Gorseinon by 45-27 while Kidwelly won 49-12 at Haverfordwest and Penclawdd jumped over Aberystwyth as they defeated them by 36-24.

Gilfach Goch blew their South East title chances after they lost 22-7 at Brecon. Treherbert could claim the title if they avoid defeat against Gilfach Goch on Friday, but Nantymoel kept their chances alive with a 33-23 win at Mountain Ash.

Newport Saracens slipped up against Cwmbran and a 17-8 defeat has almost left their East title challenge in tatters. Brynithel kept up their title hopes with
24-27 victory over close challengers Llanishen

In South West, Mumbles finished the season as runners-up with a 62-12 victory at Ammanford while Maesteg Quins were beaten 15-7 at Ystalyfera.
