DIVISION THREE.

Treherbert gained the South-East title by defeating Gilfach Goch 45-19 on Friday while Tonyrefail beat Pentyrch 24-7 and Ynysybwl had a good 21-18 win at Mountain Ash. Nantymoel moved to second place after beating Brecon 38-21.

In the South-West Maesteg Quins beat Skewen 25-15; Glynneath won 22-18 over Ammanford and there was a controversial 18-18 draw between Nantyfyllon and Bryncoch.

The Eastern title is becoming more and more confused as top clubs are being beaten. The latest has seen Old Illtydians follow their win away to Newport Saracens with a 13-6 home success over Brynithel. Senghenydd, who lost at New Tredegar, are the next to visit Llanrumney Park against the Illtydians.

New Tredegar carried on by winning 22-12 at Llanhilleth and in the West,Aberystwyth upset Haverfordwest 38-24.

DIVISION FOUR.

Loughor secured the South-West title after beating close rivals Pembroke

Dock

Quins 47-10, while Abercwmboi eneded Fairwater hopes of the South-East title

with a 42-7 beating and that is now gained by Pontycymmer.

Mold put a plucky show in the North before losing 27-24 to Nant Conwy and in

the east, Chepstow pulled off an away win by 18-13 at Ynysddu.

DIVISION FIVE.

Tonna ended in third spot in the South-West after a 16-3 win at Baglan, but

Dinbych pulled off an amazing 122-7 win over achynlleth in the North. Fly

half

Tony Jones converted the opening try and then conversions were scorned with

tries resulting - nine by Jones - before the visitors managed a touchdown

and

conversion.
