| Pontypool were roared on by an enthusiastic crowd last night as they defeated Neath 25-24 in a match where the lead constantly changed hands.
The league runners-up conceded an early try to home centre Adam Sliczny, which wing Jonathan Williams converted, but Neath wing Richard Johnston soon crossed for his 20th of the season in reply.
Neath skipper Paul Jones also scored a try and fly half Chris Anderson kicked a conversion and four penalty goals, but the night belonged to Pooler and Williams, whose six penalties took him to 100 points in only seven appearances.
