DIVISION TWO.

Tonmawr are the West champions and it was Bridgend Athletic who left it late to steal second place from Dunvant after winning 22-12 at Newcastle Emlyn. They pipped the Broadacre side by two points but finished three behind the champions.

In the other game in this division, fifth placed Cwmllynfell powered to an emphatic 71-5 victory over visitors Cardigan.

In a heartbreaking finale in the East, Rhymney needed a win and at least one try at Fleur de Lys to ensure retaining their Division Two status. Against all the odds they managed the win 15-3, but all their points in the derby at Trellyn Park came from five Gareth Richards penalties to one by Matthew Brown.

East champions Builth Wells were in carnival mood at Llantrisant where they were pipped 32-30 by the Black Army. The Bulls finished the season five points ahead of second-placed Fleur de Lys while in the basement, bottom club Penygraig conceded 2,076 points in their 24 league games, a record in any division, and just above them Dinas Powys also went over the century mark after conceding 1,051 in their league programme.
