| David Moffett, the wru group chief executive met with the owners of a number of Welsh Premiership clubs at a meeting Cardiff today.
The talks between the two sides were the latest in the process aimed at re-organising the top flight of the professional game in Wales.
"We had interesting and fruitful discussion, it's an ongoing process and we have agreed to meet again next week," said Mr Moffett.
Further talks will take place in the near future.
