| The camps have been running for a number of years and have proved to be a vital means of identifying talent for the future. This year, the WWRU teamed up with First Campus and the UWCN Sports Science staff to provide a unique opportunity for the girls to receive core rugby coaching, along with educational lessons and workshops that will equip them with the skills and knowledge required to be a success on the international stage.
First Campus is a partnership of higher education institutions, further education colleges and schools in South East Wales. The project was established to raise educational standards and to make a major contribution to meeting the Welsh Assembly Government targets for Reaching Higher Reaching Wider.
