The 25-year-old impressed in the Celtic League title run last season and was on the verge of the Wales squad. But the Ospreys have given Neath RFC blind-side Lee Beach, 22, a full regional contract, along with Swansea second row Alun Wyn-Jones. They follow Neath and Wales U21 centre Andrew Bishop and second row Ian Evans in gaining regional deals.

"These guys are not only the future of Ospreys rugby but the future of Welsh rugby as well," Ospreys coach Lyn Jones told the South Wales Evening Post. "All of them are fine prospects, but clearly they are still young and it will take time to develop them.


"There is an agreement in place on imported players and we are adhering to it. We are showing that we don't just talk about doing our bit for the national cause, we get on and do it."


The Ospreys have confirmed that hooker Barry Williams will continue as captain for next season. The 25-year-old impressed in the Celtic League title run last season and was on the verge of the Wales squad.
