Saturday afternoon sees Leinster travel west to face Connacht in Galway with Connacht trying to convert their European form into League points as they are currently nine points adrift at the foot of the table. In contrast a win for Leinster will see them secure their place in the top four.

Late on Saturday the tie of the weekend sees top placed Munster at home to third placed Ulster. Munster have an impressive run of 18 games unbeaten at home and Ulster know they will have their work cut out at Musgrave Park. However should they manage a bonus point win they could go top on Saturday evening.

However even if they take five points their time at the top will be short lived as second placed Edinburgh Gunners could move above the Irish sides should they win the Scottish "Inter-city" game on Sunday. Glasgow have only two wins to their name this season while the Gunners have won their last four and have lost only once to the Warriors in their last five meetings.

The following week, Wales regional back to European action with the return of the Heineken Cup.
