With all proceeds going to aid the victims of the tsunami disaster the Millennium Stadium is hoping to raise over £1 million from the concert, helped by the likes of Eric Clapton, Jools Holland and The Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Feeder, Lemar, Aled Jones and Katherine Jenkins.

More acts are joining the play list all the time and further announcements will be made on Monday, but the concert is well on its way to sell to out its 65,000 capacity.

"The phone lines have been buzzing since the start of the day and the website has been inundated with hits" said Stadium Manager Paul Sergeant. "The lines will be open 24 hours throughout the weekend, so people should continue to call on 08705 582 582"

Tickets are priced at £30, £22.50 and £15 with corporate packages also available.
