Dunvant may have settled matters at the top of Division Two (West) but the relegation battle took a new twist with both Mumbles and Seven Sisters registering vital wins to leave the bottom six teams separated by just four points.
Mumbles thought they had moved off the foot of the table when centre Aled Davies scored two of his team's six tries in a surprise 46-14 win at Banwen.

However that was still not enough to over-take Seven Sisters who claimed a 41-17 victory at home to Loughor, scrum-half Francis Hooper crossing twice, to leave the bottom clubs locked on 21 points each.

They are now only one win behind Gorseinon while Tonmawr, Maesteg Quins, who lost to Bridgend Athletic, and Felinfoel could also be dragged into the mire in the final week.

Aberystwyth claimed second spot in Division Three (West) with a 24-12 win over Amman United while Hendy ended the campaign with the worst defensive record in Wales following a humiliating 108-8 defeat at Llangefni.

Division Three (South-West) champions Tonna were brought down to earth with only their third defeat of the season in the final game at Vardre who ran out 40-3 winners thanks to tries from Wayne McFenton, Dan Sullivan, Gareth Jones and Gareth Noble.

Results went to form in Division Four (South-West) where top two Heol y Cyw and Birchgrove both won though third-place Glynneath went down to a surprise 20-10 defeat to Aberavon Green Stars.

Division Five (West) champions Burry Port ended the campaign with a straight-forward 39-10 win over struggling St Clears who were nevertheless guaranteed to avoid bottom spot in the league before St David's 35-0 loss at Penygroes.
