Fly-half Hook continued his run of fine form with a try and six goals in the Welsh All Blacks' 22-10 victory in front of 3,385 fans. They are now six points clear at the top.

Bridgend moved above Pontypridd into second place on the table with a 23-13 win at Glamorgan Wanderers. The home side were in touch at 10-all at halftime, but a try to winger Ryan Howells gave the Ravens some much-needed breathing space in the second spell.

Llandovery did their chances of avoiding relegation no harm with a stunning 11-6 victory over a well-performed Cross Keys side, with Drovers No. 8 John Mills scoring the only try of the match.

Andrew James scored 20 points as Bedwas returned from struggling Maesteg with a 35-12 win, while Aberavon fly-half Jamie Davies banged over six penalty goals in the Wizards' 23-15 win over Cardiff at the Arms Park.

Cardiff scored two tries to one, but their 13th loss of the season confirms their position as relegation contenders, especially after fellow strugglers Carmarthen Quins produced a surprise 17-12 win at Pontypool. The boot of Quins' Rhys Priestland (12 points) proved the difference.

Llanelli moved into the top five on the table with a hard-fought 20-16 win at Ebbw Vale's Eugene Cross Park. Fullback Mike Hook scored a crucial second-half try to keep the visitors in front.
