| KooGa will continue to supply the complete range of Scarlets playing and training apparel for the next five years, including the home and change strips for the first team, premiership side Llanelli RFC, their development squads and the grass roots community teams and will unveil a new-look change shirt later this year for the start of the 2006/07 season.
The deal marks KooGa’s longest partnership with a Welsh club. The specialist rugby brand has been supporting the Llanelli RFC club side and more recently the Scarlets regional side following the advent of regional identities with the major restructure within Wales in 2003 and with the club’s recent success, is now reaping the benefits of its early investment.
KooGa’s Sports Marketing Director Bill Newton says: “We’ve been building a strong relationship with Llanelli RFC and more recently the Scarlets since we became their kit partner in 1999 and have seen them develop into a major force in Welsh rugby."
“With the Powergen Cup final to play for this season, a successful first team, strong fan base, good grassroots initiatives and of course the prospect of a new stadium in 2007, it’s an exciting time for the club and we’re confident that this success will continue.
