Cardiff Quins 61 Tredegar Ironsides 10
Becky Davies, Quins’ scrum half led the way scoring 5 tries. Gwawr Jones, still impressing in her first season scored 2 with the remaining coming from Catrina Nicholas, Anwen Hopkins, Jilly Holroyd and Kim Parry.
Tredegar Ironsides, who only started a women’s section this season never gave up throughout the match and were awarded with a try by Amy Taylor late on.
Nicola John, Cardiff Quins Captain commented after the match “It was a really enjoyable and open game and I was impressed with how the Ironsides stuck at it, they seem to be improving all the time and we look forward to playing them next season”.
The Quins will either face Rhigos, Waunarlwydd or Tycroes in the semi-finals to be played on the 7th May.
