The IRB Junior World Championship currently taking place in Wales is not only a shop window for the best young players in the world but it is also a breeding ground for the best up-and-coming coaches in world rugby.
Coaches at every level of the game in Wales will tomorrow (Thursday, 12 June) get a chance to pick the brains of the 16 international coaching teams around Wales with the teams holding an open training session for community coaches.

The Welsh coaches, who run club and schools sides across Wales, will get first-hand insight into what it takes to coach at international level by going along to the sessions which will be held at 2.00pm at the teams' training bases.

As Wales prepare to take on Pool D rivals France at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, Wales U20 Head Coach Patrick Horgan will be holding a training session at Swansea RFC, while assistant coaches Rob Appleyard and Wayne Jones will be on the side-lines talking the community coaches through the session. After the session, there will be a chance to ask questions and exchange ideas.

The same thing will be happening with all participating coaching teams including Australia at Cross Keys RFC, South Africa at Wrexham RFC and tournament No 1 seed New Zealand at Pontypridd RFC.
