Felinfoel emphatically stamped their authority on Division Two West with a 47-10 thumping of leaders Mumbles.
Two unbeaten records were at stake in the match where first met second and the home side’s six tries left no doubt as to which team are promotion favourites.

No.8 Stuart Roberts stormed over for two tries in the rout with other scores coming from Craig Griffiths, Simon Delaney, Stuart Wall and Jason Davies – who also added two dropped goals, a penalty and a conversion for a full-house of scores.

Third-placed Lougher were also on the end of a hiding at the hands of Carmarthen Athletic who also scored six tries in their 41-18 win after leading only 15-10 at the break.

In Division Three, a late 50-metre penalty-goal from Laugharne’s Alistair Chambers secured a 20-18 win over the previously unbeaten leaders Ammanford.

After taking an early 14-0 lead through tries from flanker Kevin Pearce and fullback Simon Davies, Laugharne found themselves 18-17 behind as the visitors replied with three tries of their own. But Chambers was coolness personified and stepped up to take the spoils.

Second-placed Llanbydder also slumped to a home defeat as Carwyn Gregson scored the only try of the game for Lampeter in an 11-6 triumph.

Leaders Hendy had their match with Crymych abandoned when the game was stopped for a serious injury and second-placed Pontarddulais failed to take advantage of the leaders' inactivity as they went down 21-14 at home to Tenby. Third-placed Trimsaran also tasted defeat, going down 13-10 at Pembroke.

In Division Five, Burry Port remain on top after a 19-8 victory at Pontyates.
