The table topping Blues North can enjoy a break on Wednesday night as the chasing pack take centre stage in the fourth round of matches in the WRU Reebok Regional U16 Championship.
With three wins from as many games the North top the league from the Ospreys, who will take over in pole position should they defeat the Blues South at Glamorgan Wanderers.

The Ospreys, who have been dominant at U18 and U20 level have lost only once at U16 level – 6-3 last time out to the leaders.

High Performance Manager Dai Arthur said, "If you look at the results, it's clear to see how competitive this age group is.

"We have a difficult game [on Wednesday night] but the coaches have prepared the side well and we are looking forward to getting ourselves back on track."

Blues South, however, will certainly not be a pushover. They too have lost only once this term, to the North, and are fresh from a victory last month over the Dragons.

Without a win from their two games this season, the Dragons entertain a Scarlets side who like their opponents have yet to register a victory.

They lost their opening game 24-12 to the North and followed up with a 16-12 defeat at the Ospreys. To stand any chance of reaching the final, neither side can afford to lose at the Recreation Ground, Tredegar.
