A 19-13 defeat at the hands of the Blues in the opening fixture was followed by a 13-10 defeat against the Dragons.

Henri Boot leads the Scarlets against an Ospreys side who have chosen to omit star centre Ashley Beck. Prolific scorer Ryan Bayliss is named on the left wing in a side captained by Ben Howe.

The Dragons were grateful to tries from Danny Ellis and Adam Hughes against the Scarlets and both play in a side desperate to register a second victory of the season.

High Performance Manager Ron Shottle said, "We had high hopes at the start of the season and although things haven't gone that well at any of the levels, we won our last game at U18 and would like to think we could continue in the same vein."

Like the Ospreys, the Blues have been outstanding in their opening matches of the campaign with the U18 defeat at home to the Ospreys, one of only two defeats suffered by the region's sides so far this term.
