The Blues have made three changes which stunned the Ospreys for their second Welsh derby clash of the season against the Dragons.
Ross Johnson comes in at hooker, Ben White in the back row and scrum half Richie Rees makes his Blues debut for Friday night's match at Rodney Parade.

The Blues are looking to make it two wins from two this season after they held on to beat the Ospreys 17-15 in last Friday's Magners League opener.

Blues Coach Dai Young knows his side must capitalise on winning start by defeating the Dragons.

"The Dragons are a real honest, hard-working team and you can't give them a start, like the Scarlets did (last week)," he told BBC Sport Wales.

"We've got to put points on the board and hopefully defend in the same sort of vein that we did last season."

Flanker Maama Molitika was unavailable for selection after bruising his shoulder in the Arms Park win and wing Tom James misses out after suffering from food poisoning.

A second x-ray for Scott Morgan revealed that the broken bone in his hand, sustained in the pre-season match against Pontypridd, has not healed enough for him to take part in the east Wales derby.

It is thought that he will be fully recovered and will be available for selection for the Blues’ match against Glasgow at the Arms Park on the 21st of September
