The Scarlets have announced that Garan Evans has extended his contract with the region.
Evans, who has played his rugby at Stradey Park since 1993, put pen to paper on a contract extension that will keep him at the Scarlets for an additional season.

The 34-year-old winger joined in the days of pre-regional rugby and has made a total of 329 appearances for Llanelli and the Scarlets. Evans has scored 123 tries, his prolific strike-rate earning him four Wales caps.

“I’m delighted Garan is signing on for another campaign,” said Scarlets Director of Rugby, Phil Davies. “He has a wealth of experience and his ability to cover wing as well as fullback will give us options at the back.”
