The WWRU National Junior 7s tournament and the annual junior presentation took place on Sunday 24th June 2007 at Llandovery RFC.
Despite a poor forecast we were blessed with sunshine for most of the event, and with seven U14 teams and six U17, the schedule was very busy.

In the U14 competition two novice teams entered, Aberystwyth and Radyr school, both of which showed great enthusiasm and potential. However, the tournament was dominated by the experience of Whitland/Carmarthen/Neath and Newport A with Whitland/Carmarthen/Neath coming out as overall winners.

The U17 competition was dominated by the East and West league winners, Neath and Llandaff North, with Neath the overall winners.

The WWRU would like to take this opportunity to wish those girls who were injured all the best in their recovery.

U14 teams: Aberystwyth, Colwyn Bay, Cynon Valley, Newport A, Newport B, Radyr School, Whitland/Carmarthen/Neath.

U17 teams: Colwyn Bay, Cynon Valley, Llandaff North, Neath, RTB Ebbw Vale, Whitland.
