Ospreys Coach Lyn Jones believes his Magners League winning side have an ideal opportunity to step up in Europe after being pooled with Gloucester, Ulster and Bourgoin.
The Heineken Cup 2007–2008 Pool Draw, conducted in Cardiff on Wednesday, led Jones to comment: "I'm sure all the teams will think that it's all to play for".

With glory in the Magners League last season, and a runners-up spot in the EDF Energy Cup, 2006–2007 was the Ospreys' finest season since their set-up four years ago.

They looked to be heading for the knockout stage of last season's Heineken Cup before a late drop goal in their penultimate game at home to Stade Francais opened the door for the French side to take top spot.

Jones added: "We are learning what is needed to be successful in this competition and hopefully next year we will be able to get past the group stage.

"We know that Ulster and Gloucester will be strong, but I'm not sure what Bourgoin will bring – they are usually pretty weak."
