Cardiff Blues have signed Maama Molitika; just one season after he left the Arms Park for pastures new.
The Tongan back-rower will return to the Arms Park after a short spell in Japan with IBM Big Blue RFC. Molitika, 32, is no stranger to Welsh rugby following previous spells with BridgendRFC, the Celtic Warriors and the Blues and his capture follows hot on the heels of the season long loan signing of Tal Selley.

Blues Coach Dai Young said: "Maama is a quality player and we are glad to have him back. We were dealt a blow when Andy Powell picked up a long-term injury at the end of the season and Maama certainly strengthens us."

Meanwhile, Blues flyer Mosese Luveitasau, currently on duty with Fiji, is poised to leave the region. The wing spent last season in Cardiff and made 19 appearances for the Blues scoring six tries. Young added: "We are not expecting him back."
